Judging for the Architecture Categories

Ed Williams is a Partner of Fletcher Priest, a dynamic architecture practice renowned for its outstanding contribution to office design, complex master-planning, historic refurbishment and for the sheer volume of projects that they’ve completed in the City of London.

At Fletcher Priest, Ed has directed a range of projects including 6 Bevis Marks, Nomura’s headquarters, Finsbury Circus House, Hackney Picture House and Carmelite Riverside in London. The practice is currently on site with several important projects in London including Angel Court, 55 Gresham Street and Dixon House as well as a residential project in Shoreditch for 206 apartments with associated workspace.

Recently Ed’s team achieved planning on a residential scheme for a Crossrail over site development on Oxford St and a very low energy production office at Pinewood Studios. The practice balances commerciality and artistic sensibility in each of their projects which is what makes FPA one of the leading practices of its generation.

Ed is passionate about delivering architecture that challenges convention, maximises sustainability potential and reanimates hidden architectural qualities. Ed is a keen artist and has contributed to ’The Architects Sketchbook‘, D & AD annuals and several exhibitions.
