Judging for the Architecture Categories

Kevin Sew is an architect graduated from France and Switzerland. He is a registered professional architect and a past President of the Mauritius Association of Architects. Now an Associate Director at Hotel Design Consulting (HODESCO), he has been involved with Hodesco since its beginning as a start-up nine years ago. Together with the founding partner, Kevin has contributed in building the business from scratch with a considerable focus on client satisfaction, one of the core values of hospitality. He was proposed the directorship of the company in 2013 and since then, has developed the business, which was a single-oriented service provider, into a multiple-service provider. Hodesco has built extended services in architectural consultancy, interior designing and site follow-up with a niche expertise in luxury hospitality and real estate.

For the last three years, Kevin has been a part-time lecturer at the Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Architecture de Nantes – Mauritius, working as an assistant professor for the project studio. He is regularly invited to be a jury member on different panels, locally and Internationally. His last jury conducted him in Ahmedabad to share a round table and joint discussion on the Future Prospects and Ethics of Architecture with the Pritzker Prize 2018; Balkrishna Doshi.
