The African property industry has surpassed itself this year with a significant 10% rise in award entries for the forthcoming 2019-20 Dubai, Africa & Arabia Property Awards. This is in comparison to the Dubai and Arabia entries, which have retained similar entry levels to the 2018-19 awards.

Award winners can look forward to collecting their accolades at a glittering awards ceremony on 12th June at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square. The awards are part of the global International Property Awards programme, which has been running for over 25 years. They celebrate the highest level of achievement by companies operating within the architecture, interior design, property development and real estate sectors around the world.

“I would like to extend my congratulations to all the African Property Awards winners and we are delighted to see an increase in entries from this region.” Said Stuart Shield President of the International Property Awards “The African region is proving itself to be a significant player within the global property industry.”

The awards focus on design, quality, service, innovation, originality and commitment to sustainability and cover 48 different residential and commercial categories. Regional heats are staged for Asia Pacific, Arabia, Europe, Africa, Canada, Central & South America, the Caribbean, USA and the UK. Judging is carried out by an independent panel of over 80 industry experts, chaired by four UK Lords. The top winners in each region will automatically be entered into the overall international awards, culminating in a glittering awards ceremony, held at the Savoy Hotel London on the 2nd December.

The awards will also play host to the IPAX Dubai, Africa & Arabia Property Expo, a networking event and property exhibition aimed at key property industry professionals and attended by many major decision makers within the property industry.
