An exclusive show apartment showcasing the best of British design, has been launched at Southbank Place’s Thirty Casson Square in London. The fully dressed show apartment located on the 27th floor, has been designed by boutique luxury interior design studio, Portia Fox. The show apartment offers prospective purchasers the opportunity to view this stunning location on the banks of the Thames, looking out onto the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament and the City of London, surrounded by bespoke British made pieces.

Much of the furniture is designed in-house at Portia Fox; it delivers carefully crafted pieces with clever contemporary twists. Portia Fox has drawn on the heritage of the area, having been inspired by the former coal and dye works, timber yards and potteries based at Southbank Place and the furniture, artwork, and colour palette reflect this.

The bespoke pieces have all been handmade by British makers, illustrating the quality of craftsmanship available from across the UK in locations such as Dorset, Whitby, and Newcastle, to name a few. The exquisite dining table has been crafted by a specialist maker in south west London, the bespoke leather upholstery on the striking kitchen stools has been printed in north London and the bespoke bedside tables in the master bedroom have been handmade by a cabinet maker based in Newcastle.  In addition to the furniture, much of the artwork has been sourced from British based artists.

Developed by Braeburn Estates – a joint venture partnership between Qatari Diar and Canary Wharf Group – Thirty Casson Square, coupled with neighbouring building One Casson Square, are sleek towers clad in stone.

Residents benefit from exclusive access to a 18,000 sq. ft. health and fitness facility, designed in the style of a five-star hotel spa by interior specialists, Goddard Littlefair. One Casson Square also benefits from a private residents’ lounge entered directly from the main entrance lobby. This is a flexible space providing business facilities, meeting facilities, relaxation space, screening room and multi-function area. At times, parts of this facility will be available to residents on a bookable basis for private events.

Southbank Place is located within comfortable walking distance of some of the city’s most popular landmarks and iconic green spaces. Residents also enjoy excellent transport links, with direct access into Waterloo Station, which is serviced by the Jubilee, Northern and Bakerloo Underground lines, as well as rail services to the South and South West of England.

Prices at Thirty Casson Square start from £1.15m, whilst the Portia Fox-designed show apartment is available to purchase for £7.75m.
