International architectural design practice L&P Architects have based the interior design of their Yinchuan Yoyo City project firmly on the concept of ‘Yinchuan’s paradise land of the future.’ With a stunning, innovative, and dynamically curvaceous design inspired by nature, L&P want visitors to feel a sense of energy and movement which encourages them to explore the space fully.

Yoyo City’s interior design is inspired by the nature, art, and energy of Yinchuan. This integration of natural shapes with a superb futuristic design, aims to take visitors on a relaxing journey into nature each time they visit, while at the same offering an opportunity to explore and play in the various high tec playgrounds and areas around the shopping mall.

“Within the concept of ‘paradise land’, we have created a large green space using colourful natural elements, careful planting and innovative lighting. This will combine to bring people into a fantasy world that they will never have experienced before.” In addition, an iconic waterfall adds movement and energy and an intricate and sinuous rooftop skylight introduces plenty of daylight and natural energy into the shopping mall.

Located 7km south of Yinchuan city centre, adjacent to an urban express highway, Yinchuan Yoyo City is also attached to a valuable landscape resource – the Guan Lake park, which adds considerable value. With a total of 120,000 square metres GFA, this urban mixed-use complex is a large combination of “shopping centre + retail street + boutique apartments”. The project is due for completion in mid 2023.
