Singapore-based interior design firm SuMisura has clinched two awards at the International Property Awards, an annual title that recognises residential and commercial property professionals around the globe.
SuMisura was recognised for its interior design work for 3 Orchard-By-The-Park’s show home, and for designing a private residence at D’Leedon Garden Villa.
3 Orchard By-the-Park is a 77-unit luxury condo on Orchard Boulevard, which was designed by Italian architect Antonio Citterio as “Villas in the Sky”. YTL Land, the developer, appointed SuMisura, which used curves, rich colours and sumptuous textures to bring warmth and softness to the show home.
The private residence at D’Leedon Garden Villa is a three-storey semi-detached home situated within the premium garden wing designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. According to SuMisura, the challenge was to create a welcoming and intimate home while being sensitive to the futuristic design of the building and internal spaces. As a result, the walls were cladded with timber tones and complemented with furnishings in similar hues to create warm and cosy spaces. Chandeliers, pendant lights and other secondary lighting were also used.
