Prof. David Hind

Professor David Hind has 30 years experience working in the tourism, events and hospitality industries in the UK and overseas, and networking with senior industry and education executives. He holds a number of key positions within the events industry and academia. He has authored several textbooks on events management, sustainable tourism and employability skills, and is often called upon as a key note conference speaker on topics related to events management. As well as the Presidency of the Asia Pacific Institute for Events Management, he is currently also President of the APIEM Academy and Chair of the Sri Lanka Institute for Events Management Board of Study. Working with several high profile universities, David is Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia, Distinguished Professor at Chung Hua University, Taiwan and Visiting Professor at Management and Science University, Malaysia.
