JOHANNESBURG – Waterfall Management Company has won the Best Mixed-use Development in South Africa 2019/2020 award for the Waterfall development at the International Property Awards held at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square on 12 June.
In addition to garnering this award for the sixth consecutive year, the company was also honoured with an award for mixed-use architecture in South Africa for the very first time.
The International Property Awards are exposed to residential and commercial property professionals across the world. Now in their 27th year, these awards commemorate the top levels of achievement by companies functioning in all sectors of the property and real estate industry. Judging focuses on the design, service, innovation, creativity and commitment to sustainability.
Furthermore, the International Property Awards are acknowledged as a world-renowned mark of excellence. Additional to these awards and recognition, Waterfall was also selected as best mixed-use development in Africa. The utmost scoring, five-star champions from each category in Africa, will automatically be put forward for re-judging against the five-star winners from the Asia Pacific, Arabia, Europe, USA and the Americas, as well as the UK.
Once the re-assessment has taken place, this year’s international winners in each category will be recognised as the world’s best. These winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on 2 December. In the previous year, Waterfall also won the top honours for the second year in a row, when named Best International Mixed-use Development 2018/2019.
