Colin Skerritt, director of Tourism (Canada) for the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority collected prestigious awards on behalf of Tamarind Hills during the 2018-19 USA & Americas Property Awards a glittering gala presentation, held in Canada at the Marriott Downtown CF Toronto Eaton Centre on September 20.
At the ceremony, Tamarind Hills was awarded ‘Best Residential Development’, ‘Five star award Best Residential Development’ and was nominated for ‘Best Residential Development in the Caribbean’ in the Americas 2018 category.
The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority in a press release expressed pleasure in sharing the good news “from hotel partner Tamarind Hills on their win of three international property awards” that “acknowledge the high quality of hotel product in Antigua and Barbuda”.
The International Property Awards recognises and rewards the finest of property, architecture and interior design in the world, with hundreds of entries scrutinised by the judging committee, an independent panel comprising of 80 global industry experts focusing on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability. In its 25th year, The Awards cover more than 45 different residential and commercial categories.
The International Property Awards are open to residential and commercial property professionals from around the globe. They celebrate the highest levels of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry. An International Property Award is a world-renowned mark of excellence, and this year there were over 300 entries in the Americas region 2018.
The release dated September 28, states: “As a nomination winner in the Americas 2018 region, Tamarind Hills will go on to compete in the USA & Americas region to become Best in the Caribbean, USA & Americas, and ultimately Best in the World – to be announced at the Savoy Hotel, London, on 3rd December 2018.”
