The forthcoming Asia Pacific Awards’ presentation ceremony is likely to be the largest regional event in the International Property Awards’ 20 year history. It is being held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on May 9th and will be attended by hundreds of Asia Pacific’s leading property professionals. Celebrating the success of the region’s premier developments, architecture and interior design from 29 countries, the Earl of Courtown will present the winning companies with their awards during the ceremony.
The Asia Pacific Property Awards, combined with the other regional awards’ programmes for Arabia, Europe, Africa, the USA, Central and South America, the Caribbean and Canada form the globally renowned International Property Awards. They are the world’s most prestigious property competition and cover residential as well as commercial categories. Judging is carried out through a meticulous process involving a panel of over 70 experts covering every aspect of the property industry.
Every year a select number of winners are placed under further examination and just one from each category goes forward to represent the Asia Pacific region in the International Property Awards. They then compete against all the other regional winners to determine the overall ‘World’s Best’ in each category.
Stuart Shield, President of the International Property Awards says,
The Asia Pacific region has the best track record for companies that go on to receive an International Property Award. This sets the bar so high, other regions have a hard task ahead if they hope to outshine Asia Pacific in the finals.
Building upon the success of business events first added to the 2012 award ceremonies, the International Property Awards will also host an Asia Pacific Property Summit on May 8th and 9th at the same venue. A number of professional networking events, including seminars, discussion tables and an exhibition will be attended by presidents, CEOs, managing directors, chairmen and other decision makers. The event presents an ideal opportunity to make connections and generate new business and is open to all industry related companies and suppliers in addition to award participants. This year the public will also be allowed access to the Property Summit free of charge.
