Gregory Phillips, founder of Gregory Phillips Architects, is one of the UK’s leading names when it comes to the design industry. Paving the way for creative talent over the last 25 years he has taken a unique approach to modern design; applying a bespoke and holistic view to high quality residential design.
Born in London, Gregory was trained at Bristol University and Macintosh School of Architecture, Glasgow. He has a unique perspective when designing houses, providing elegant tailored designs solutions for each project from the architecture to the furniture to the landscape design. His projects include city homes and stylish country residences for a wide number of high profile clients, reflecting his creativity, experience and discretion.
Gregory has been working specifically in the private residential sector since 1991 and has extensive experience in this field. Pioneering the direct link between architecture and interior design, he hones in on the harmony between the two in order to deliver one-off projects that focus on volume, space, and attention to detail. They are architecturally strong whilst remaining aesthetically pleasing.
Considering the energy conservation, lifestyle of the client and every detail in between, Gregory has been awarded numerous accolades including a RIBA Award for his work within the design and architecture field and also Best House in Europe awarded by Design Et Al in 2017. Working with traditional materials such as wood, stone and leather alongside a high degree of craftsmanship he delivers elegant yet comfortable living spaces which have been celebrated and published worldwide.
