Simon’s career spans over 30 years in the creative industry with an initial focus on Interior Design and Architectural projects in the UK, France and Italy. Having expanded my portfolio over the years, I continue to work with private individuals and creatively focused companies.

Simon has been a judge for the International Property Awards since 2014, as he enjoys connecting and working with other people. He has collaborated on a variety of projects with several other designers including Matteo Bianchi Studio, Emulsion Architecture and Michael O’Sullivan Design. He enjoys the challenges, exchange of ideas and rewards this brings.

Simon was twice elected as International Director for the British Institute of Interior Design, attaining Board Director level. He was responsible for creating and building new relationships outside the UK on behalf of the BIID. He has represented Interior Designers through presentations to audiences in Europe, Japan, Canada, Russia, India and the USA. Simon enjoys hosting design lectures and reviews based on his travels to international design events including Salone del Mobile, Maison et Objet and the London Design Festival. In 2017 he was selected to be a brand ambassador for Decorex International to celebrate it’s 40th anniversary.

In addition to writing for publications such as Design Exchange Magazine, The National, Elle Decoration, Simon has written Blogs, Newsletters, Press Releases and is author of the design book, LISTEN, DESIGN, INSPIRE’ – Matteo Bianchi’s Creative Journey, which was launched in Dubai, Milan and London in Spring 2018.

Simon strongly values and supports design education through his work as an Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London and a Visiting Tutor at Chelsea College of Art, University of the Arts, London.

In late 2019, Simon was appointed Associate Designer at Matteo Bianchi Studio and he continues working independently with his own private clients.
